The British Columbia Dental Association (BCDA) is the recognized voice of dentistry in this province, dedicated to serving the interests of its members and promoting oral health.

The mandate of the BCDA is to serve, represent and advocate for our members -- the dentists of BC advocates on behalf of our members to promote oral health for all British Columbians.

The Association is governed by a Board comprised of 15 elected and 2 appointed members, supported by Executive Director Jocelyn Johnston and 20 full and part-time staff.

The BCDA was established in 1998 to provide dedicated programs, services and advocacy for members separate and apart from the College of Dental Surgeons of BC, the regulator of dentists and certified dental assistants in BC.

The Association is a corporate member of the Canadian Dental Association.
